go easy
a small piece of something that i worked on (before all of this began) in Berlin with Nadia Froese, whose thoughtful and open heart brought me there in the first place. here’s to finishing this, and all our other odd ideas, one day. across oceans and together.
it seems only appropriate given we are all attempting to be productive amidst unprecedented times. a gentle reminder (even if they aren’t all available to you at this time), that it all counts. it all adds up to the things that matter.
things that count as writing
riding public transit
filming a music video to open source music
rearranging all the furniture in your room
comparing the Wikipedia articles of Finn Wolfhard & Timothée Chalamet
reading
repotting plants
trimming your fingernails
intense walks through your neighbourhood
flailing your arms
flailing in general
laying on the floor
endlessly scrolling through contests/lit mags looking for places to submit
pretty much anything bodily ever
waking up from a dream in which Finn Wolfhard and Timothée Chalamet continuously morph into one another. a curly haired wave of youthful actor, ringlets ebbing and flowing
listening to your dad say something funny
mailing a letter
be kind. rest.
